VitaMine

Early access

Terms of service

Effective 6 August 2026

1. The service

VitaMine is an invite-only academic CV management service operated by Andreas Horn. It helps you create, organise, enrich, export, and optionally publish parts of an academic CV. The service is in early access and may change as it is refined.

2. Your account and content

Keep your credentials confidential and provide accurate account information. You retain your rights in the CV content and materials you upload. You must have the rights and, where needed, permission to upload and process personal data about other people, including co-authors, trainees, collaborators, and referees.

3. Your data and exports

You can download a portable .vitamine copy of a saved CV. Public profiles are opt-in; before publishing, review the material carefully. You can unpublish a profile and delete a CV or account from the service.

4. Managed AI and connected services

AI-assisted import, enrichment, cleanup, and custom-template features are disabled until you explicitly agree to the OpenAI-processing notice in Settings. This can send selected CV or template content to OpenAI using VitaMine’s managed account. You may withdraw that permission at any time; new AI requests will then be blocked. Optional ORCID, Zotero, and OpenAlex features are subject to the respective provider’s terms.

5. Availability and accuracy

VitaMine is provided as an early-access service without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, suitability for a particular purpose, or accuracy of generated, imported, enriched, or exported content. Check all results before relying on them for applications, reporting, publications, or other decisions, and keep your own backup.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or submit material that infringes rights or contains harmful code. We may suspend access needed to protect the service, users, or third parties.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these early-access terms when the service changes. Material changes will be announced in the service or by email where appropriate. Contact info@vitamine.cloud with questions.
